I suppose the closest thing to home is home itself. I have a house to protect me. A roof over my head. Many don’t: homelessness in the practical and metaphysical sense is a global issue. It’s on the news everyday: refugees in search of a new home, and visible in the streets: those living rough. I have no solution, other than local involvement in charities benefitting the cause.
