Brigadier’s Frogs

A body suddenly crashed through a plate glass window at the Brigadier’s house. It was a sky light and the body was a frog’s. Looking out the window it was raining frog’s. The Brigadier casually remarked upon the occurance as part of the season, and took refuge in the basement whilst the ‘hail’ storm raged. It didn’t last long. And upon inspection of the damage, the sky light shattered glass was the worst of it. The temperature in the room was now minus one. Frogs, bodies slimy and eyes bulging, now covered the slippery tiled floor, jumping to and fro. Slowly one by one, the frogs started to freeze. Before his eyes they turned into crystals. The Brigadier has seen this phenomena before: frog’s turning into crystals, and found it a pragmatic way of avoiding the messy business of handling all those frogs.

  1. Very imaginative! Did the Brigadier clean up? Maybe those crystals turned to emeralds…Endless possibilities! Thank you for participating in the MFtS challenge and I hope that you return next week! Be well…. ^..^
