I live in Lewisham, London, UK. Lewisham is very multi-cultural, has a nice fruit and veg market, encompasses Blackheath with plenty if restaurants and coffee shops, and also Lee with a big supermarket. Not short of parks and huge ‘heath’ under which they say are buried victims of the plague and Wat Tyler’s peasant’s revolt. Not far off from Greenwich park which has the observatory and the greenwich meridian (GMT) running through it. Lewisham is quite a busy place and not too far from central London, which has a list of highlighted cultural activities. If this sounds like a tourist brochure, do not be disuaded from visiting, you can stay in The Clarendon Hotel overlooking the heath, and maybe we can meet for a coffee!!!
