I don’t understand the word community. Does it mean peer support? That means relationships founded on mutual trust and empathy. I can understand that concept. Humanity of a sort, it can be a wonderful thing, nurturing contact with other beings, in times of darkness or simply joy.
I suppose, taking the example of a peer group, organization of this community starts with an open door policy, everyone is welcome. There maybe an authority, but that authority shares experiences with its members. Is this a democracy? Anyhow we share our memories, and our understandings, our dissapointments, and our victories, and our support for each other. When we return into ourselves we have the knowledge that there are others out there like us, however different on the surface.

What does your ideal community look like? How is it organized, and how is community life structured? What values does the community share?
