Pine Trees

There was a time, up to the age of eleven, that I was pretty useful at tennis…so much so that the opportunity to leave school to concentrate on a career in the sport presented itself. About this time I went to a tennis camp in the south of France, hidden in what I remember as a forest of pine trees. There I was playing in this prestigious camp on red clay courts, surrounded by pine trees. Well one thing lead to another and I never did get to pursue my life as a tennis player, but to this day I remember those clay courts and the smell of those pine trees.

Humans have very strong scent memory. Tell us about a smell that transports you.
